Firefox is currently one of the best and most valued browsers thanks to its security and efficiency. Pale Moon is an open source project that is based on the Mozilla browser but includes many additional features to try to improve its stability, efficiency, and speed.
Some of its features are optimizations for updated processors, a customizable interface, greater stability in preventing unexpected crashes while browsing, support for Firefox extensions, and support for HTML5, CSS3 and WebGL.
It also includes special accessibility options and an integrated parental control system to prevent access to certain pages. Although it is constantly evolving and has a large community of users, the philosophy of Pale Moon is to not change its main interface with the release of new versions, leaving each user to modify it however he or she would like.
